Ukraine, who have been drawn in Group 6 for the EURO 2004™ qualifying round along with Spain, Greece, Northern Ireland and Armenia, will warm up ahead of the start of their campaign with a friendly against Iran on 21 August.
Other plans
Further friendly games are planned by Leonid Buryak's sides as well, including matches against Slovakia on 20 November and F.Y.R. Macedonia on 3 April. On 7 September this year, Ukraine start their EURO 2004™ campaign against Armenia.
