The match will be played in Cyprus but one overseas performer who will not be involved is Stade Rennais FC striker Georgi Ivanov, after he was left out of the selection. However, in-form forward Svetoslav Todorov has been included after an excellent season for Portsmouth FC in the English first division.
Spanish defeat
Todorov, who has not played for the national team in two years, had been called up for the friendly against Spain in November. However, a stomach upset prevented him from playing in the match, which Bulgaria lost 1-0.
