Group 10 is the most competitive of the qualifying pools for Portugal as Georgia's 1-0 victory against Russia on Wednesday means that a mere four points separates the five challengers. Switzerland lead the way with eight points, while Ireland are fourth with four points from as many games.

All to play for
Brian Kerr's side, who beat Norway 1-0 in a midweek friendly international at Lansdowne Road, have home qualifiers against Albania and Georgia on 7 and 11 June. Following the 6 September fixture against the Russians, Ireland will complete their campaign with a match in Switzerland on 11 October. Australia beat England 3-1 on their last appearance in Europe.
