Brian Kerr's side, who beat Norway 1-0 in a midweek friendly international at Lansdowne Road, have home qualifiers against Albania and Georgia on 7 and 11 June. Following the 6 September fixture against the Russians, Ireland will complete their campaign with a match in Switzerland on 11 October. Australia beat England 3-1 on their last appearance in Europe.
