Article body
József Sebok will return to the Hungary fold following a three-year hiatus after being named in Imre Gellei's 20-man squad to face Bulgaria next month.
Based in Cyprus
Sebok, who plays for AEL Limassol FC in Cyprus, will not have to travel far for the friendly international as it is being played on the Mediterranean island on 12 February. He last turned out for his country against Slovakia in a UEFA European Championship qualifier in 1999, the last of eight caps which yielded two goals.
Training camps
László Miriuta also returns after Gellei refused to pick him while he was without a club after being released by FC Energie Cottbus. The midfield player found solace at German second division club MSV Duisburg, and a place back in the Hungary squad. The match is being played in Cyprus as three of the country's leading clubs - Ferencvárosi TC, MTK Hungária FC and Zalaegerszegi TE - will all hold winter training camps there ahead of the resumption of the NB. I in March.
Perfect preparation
Gellei sees Bulgaria as perfect preparation for the UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifier against Poland on 29 March. "It's great to play a friendly against a strong central European opponent in Bulgaria as they play like Poland." Hungary are second in Group 4, three points behind Latvia but with a game in hand, after recording a win and a draw in their opening two matches.
