The 21-year-old Kyle impressed Vogts against Northern Ireland's B team on Tuesday. Celtic FC midfield player Jackie McNamara is also back in the squad.
New Zealand friendly
Meanwhile, Newcastle United FC midfielder Brian Kerr and Motherwell FC striker James McFadden will join the rest of the group for the friendly against New Zealand, which takes place on 27 May at Tynecastle, Edinburgh. Neil Alexander, Colin Cameron, Kenny Miller and Barry Ferguson will miss that match because of their participation in the English play-offs and the Scottish Cup final.

Scotland are currently third in Group 5 with seven points from four games. Germany, who have played three matches, also have seven points, as do Lithuania, who have played five games.
