Manchester United teenager Marcus Rashford has been named in the England squad for UEFA EURO 2016.
The 18-year-old forward opened the scoring less than two and a half minutes into his senior international debut on Friday, a 2-1 win against Australia in Sunderland. His selection comes 24 hours after he signed a new four-year deal with United, for whom he managed eight goals in 18 appearances after being promoted to the first team by Louis van Gaal in late February.
Rashford's fellow striker Daniel Sturridge is also included, despite missing England's last two matches with a calf problem. Newcastle United winger Andros Townsend and Leicester City midfielder Danny Drinkwater have been cut from Roy Hodgson's provisional squad.
