With the global excitement building ahead of UEFA EURO 2016, UEFA and EURO 2016 SAS have today unveiled the official ticket that will feature for all 51 matches.

Over 15 million people applied for tickets via the official UEFA EURO 2016 ticket portal on EURO2016.com, and with just 71 days to go until the opening match at Stade de France on 10 June, the lucky fans who have made successful purchases will start to receive their printed tickets.

  • Design

The ticket design is a blend of tournament elements, and emphasises the festive atmosphere and the modern values of football while also portraying stadia pictograms.

In keeping with UEFA's commitment to sustainability, all tickets are being produced on FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified paper to minimise the environmental impact while maintaining the integrity of the ticket security features. This responsible sourcing also includes FSC paper for the production of accompanying letters and envelopes.

The ticket includes several security features which make it unique. The most relevant visible security features are the laser engraving and laser perforation, barcode and the new photonic high-resolution image – a coloured hologram. This brand-new technology, which is being used for the first time ever on a football ticket, showcases the tournament mascot: Super Victor.

Our goal is to ensure that only holders of an official ticket are granted access to the stadiums. Martin Kallen, CEO of EURO 2016 SAS, said: "We are very confident with the tickets produced for UEFA EURO 2016 and we are certain fans will love them as well.

"We have been working with the French authorities to combat counterfeit ticket sales and ticket-touting activities in the lead-up to the tournament. We will not hesitate to take appropriate legal action against persons breaking the law on these matters."

UEFA and EURO 2016 SAS once again urge fans not to be tempted to purchase tickets from unauthorised sellers, agents or websites – often advertised at vastly inflated prices. Such tickets may be counterfeit or invalid, and admission to the stadium will be refused.

  • How to still get tickets or corporate VIP hospitality

As of April fans still interested in buying tickets for UEFA EURO 2016 will have the possibility to register interest for specific matches via EURO2016.com. Should tickets become available for these games fans will be notified by email.

For information about Corporate VIP Hospitality, which delivers fine dining and premium seating in the stadium, visit the UEFA EURO 2016 hospitality website.
