David Silva struck in Manchester City's 3-1 UEFA Champions League win at Dynamo Kyiv on Wednesday, not the first time he has had cause to celebrate at the NSK Olimpiyskyi Stadium in the Ukrainian capital.
On 1 July 2012, it was there that Silva opened the scoring for Spain against Italy 14 minutes into a 4-0 victory that ensured his nation became the first to retain the UEFA EURO title and also completed a unique hat-trick with the 2010 FIFA World Cup sandwiched in between.
