• Gibraltar are yet to score a competitive goal at home – Lee Casciaro scored their first competitive goal in a 6-1 defeat in Scotland. It remains their only Group D strike.
• Ireland have not won a competitive game since they last met Gibraltar (D3 L1). They conceded once in each of those four games – three 1-1 draws and a 1-0 loss in Scotland.
• Ireland's 2-1 win in Georgia in their opening Group D game remains their only away win in their last six competitive fixtures on the road (W1 D2 L3).
