Olivier Giroud scored twice inside the opening six minutes as France claimed a stylish friendly win away against Denmark.
The hosts began the match knowing they had missed out on an automatic place at UEFA EURO 2016 following Albania's 3-0 win in Armenia, and their evening went from bad to worse very quickly as France exploded out of the blocks.
Standing in for the injured Karim Benzema, Giroud got the ball rolling with an under-hit effort from the edge of the area that squirmed past Kasper Schmeichel, the Arsenal player having received the ball from Anthony Martial, who impressed on his first start for Les Bleus.
Shortly afterwards, Giroud struck again. This time, he unleashed a volley from a Lucas Digne cross, and although Schmeichel kept out his shot, he merely pushed the ball straight back into the feet of the France forward. Presented with a second chance, Giroud made no mistake.
Didier Deschamps had opted to give a number of fringe players their chance to shine, and they duly delivered in an accomplished performance, with Martial standing out in particular. He embarked on a superb solo run in the second half that took him close to adding a third, only for Schmeichel to deny him at the last.
Giroud also found himself one on one with the Denmark goalkeeper, but spurned the opportunity with a nonchalant finish, and the hosts were able to grab a late consolation when Erik Sviatchenko fired in an excellent dipping shot in added time.
