• Two late goals from Yuri Logvinenko helped save some face for Kazakhstan when they lost 4-2 at home to the Czech Republic in the sides' first Group A meeting.
• That was the nations' first encounter at senior level. They had met twice in UEFA age-group tournaments, the Czechs winning 3-0 (2009) and 2-0 (2012) at Under-17 level.
