Liechtenstein have picked up a respectable five points in Group G, and could cause more problems for Sweden, who are in danger of missing out on a place at UEFA EURO 2016.
• Liechtenstein can finish no higher than their current fifth position in the section.
• Third-placed Sweden have an inferior head-to-head record in the event that they finish level on points with a Russia team presently two above them in second spot. However, they boast a better head-to-head record in their games against Montenegro in fourth.
Previous meetings
• Erkan Zengin and Jimmy Durmaz struck as Sweden beat Liechtenstein 2-0 in Solna last October – the sides' first Group G meeting.
• Liechtenstein have lost all three of their matches against Sweden, and have not scored since the first of them – Mario Frick on target in a 3-1 reverse in Gothenburg on 6 September 2006.

• Liechtenstein are without a competitive success in ten home games (D4 L6) since overcoming Lithuania 2-0 in UEFA EURO 2012 qualification on 3 June 2011. They did nonetheless win 1-0 away to Moldova last November.

• The nations' only meetings in UEFA age-group competitions produced a 4-0 triumph for Sweden at Under-19 level in 2005 and a 1-1 U17 draw in 2007 – the sole UEFA game in which a Liechtensteiner side has ever denied a Swedish counterpart victory.
• The lone encounter between Swedish and Liechtensteiner clubs in UEFA competitions came in the qualifying round of the 1998/99 UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, where Helsingborg beat Vaduz 2-0 away and 3-0 at home.
