Brazil came from behind to register a deserved 3-1 friendly victory over UEFA EURO 2016 hosts France.
Things looked good for Les Bleus when Raphaël Varane headed Didier Deschamps' team into a 21st-minute lead, only for the mood inside the Stade de France to be dramatically altered by fine goals from Oscar, Neymar and Luiz Gustavo. The defeat is France's first loss in seven games since going out of the 2014 FIFA World Cup at the quarter-final stage.
Brazil's fallibility at set pieces would have made the watching Zinédine Zidane nostalgic for the 1998 World Cup final and it took a miraculous seventh-minute Jefferson save to prevent Karim Benzema scoring after a France corner.
Steve Mandanda made a decent stop from Neymar shortly before Varane powered in a header. The Real Madrid CF defender soared above Miranda to greet Mathieu Valbuena's corner from the left and score only the second goal conceded by Brazil in seven games since Dunga returned as coach.
Mandanda kept out an excellent Firmino strike as Brazil continued to look the more dangerous side in open play. However, the home goalkeeper was beaten by Oscar before the interval, the midfielder quickly dispatching a left-footed finish after delightful interplay with Firmino and a series of nutmegs.
Brazil began the second period on the front foot and were rewarded when Neymar found space in the inside-left position, latched on to Willian's weighted pass and blasted the ball into the roof of Mandanda's net.
Jefferson then narrowed the angle brilliantly as Moussa Sissoko threatened to equalise and distinguished himself again to tip over an Antoine Griezmann special. Brazil turned the tables from a dead ball when Luiz Gustavo headed in Willian's corner to settle the prestigious encounter with 21 minutes remaining. France return to action on Sunday when they play Denmark in Saint-Etienne.
