Football fans and gamers can feel the excitement of the UEFA European Championship with the worldwide launch of EA SPORTS UEFA EURO 2012, the official video game of the eagerly awaited tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
EA SPORTS UEFA EURO 2012, available from 24 April as a digital expansion pack to EA SPORTS' FIFA 12, features all 53 UEFA member national teams and the eight stadiums which will be used for the finals. Fans who play on PlayStation3, Xbox 360 or PC will be able to compete online as their chosen European country, while a live service will drive real-life storylines from UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying and the final tournament into the game, enabling gamers to relive dramatic moments with challenges based on real-life matches.
"This game will tap into the passion fans have for their national teams by capturing all of the national rivalries in-game, and recreating all the emotion of the UEFA EURO 2012 tournament," said producer Sebastian Enrique. The all-new Expedition Mode designed exclusively for UEFA EURO 2012 invites fans to build, manage and compete with a customised team. Winning matches to earn better players from defeated nations, players strive to beat the best countries to earn the best players in a campaign quest to defeat all 53 sides and complete the journey to conquer Europe.
