Chelsea 5-1 Shamrock Rovers
Marc Guiu's hat-trick ensured Chelsea ended the league phase with a 100% record, and consigned Shamrock Rovers to the play-off places. Markus Poom replied following the 18-year-old's header, but Guiu struck again from a tight angle, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall extending the Blues' lead with a precise finish soon after. Guiu's deft header in first-half added time earned him the match ball, and Marc Cucurella capped a fine Blues move just before the hour, drilling in a fifth for the hosts via the post.
Vitória SC 1-1 Fiorentina
Fiorentina found a late leveller to ensure they join unbeaten Vitória in qualifying automatically for the last 16. Gustavo Da Silva Cunha had already gone close on two occasions when he was in the right place to tap in a wonderful low cross from Kaio César to put the hosts ahead. Both sides had a host of chances and the Viola finally equalised when a low cross was not held by Bruno Varela and Rolando Mandragora smashed into the roof of the net from a tight angle.
Real Betis 1-0 HJK Helsinki
United States international Johnny Cardoso struck his first UEFA club competition goal as Spanish contenders Real Betis did enough to secure a play-off place. Cardoso pounced on a loose pass in the area just before the half-hour mark and brushed past goalkeeper Thijmen Nijhuis with his left foot before guiding the ball into an unguarded net. HJK’s best chance on the night fell to Daniel O'Shaughnessy whose effort was denied from close-range.
