Dragićević takes the reins at Budućnost

Montenegrin First League champions FK Budućnost Podgorica have changed coach for a record 14th time in the past six years, appointing Radisav Dragićević as a successor of Miodrag Radulović, who left to take the reins at Kuwait side Al Kazma Kuwait.

Dragićević, 40, was a member of Radulović's coaching staff and it has been confirmed that he will now take the helm at Budućnost, the club at which the former midfielder started his playing careeer.

Budućnost were last season crowned domestic champions for the first time in four years, in the process breaking a Montenegrin record for most points obtained (80) and most goals scored (82). "We had a good combination of young and experienced players last season and I expect that we will be even better in future," said Dragićević, who is also assistant to Montenegro national team coach Branko Brnović.

His first challenge at the Budućnost helm will be a UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie against Polish champions WKS Śląsk Wroclaw.  "The Polish league is strong, much stronger then ours," said Dragićević. "Śląsk are favorites, but we are seriously preparing for this tie and we will be ready to give them a hard time." The Montenegrin outfit will host the first leg on 17/18 July with the return a week later.
