The eChampions League is back for another season, bringing together Europe's top EA SPORTS FC™ players to compete for the region's most prestigious prize.

Mirroring the excitement and grandeur of the UEFA Champions League, this year the eChampions League is adopting a format in line with the new real world competition structure.

It will all culminate in the thrilling finals on 28 May at Eisbach Studios, Munich, and you could be there to witness it.

Here's everything you need to know about the eChampions League 2025.

How does the eChampions League work?

Qualification

The eChampions League qualification process will be fiercely contested, with top players earning spots through some of Europe's top FC Pro leagues, including:

● ePremier League Finals (22-23 March)

● eDivisie Finals (19 April)

● LALIGA FC Pro Finals (20 April)

● VBL Grand Final (26-27 April)

● eSerie A Finals (1-2 May)

● eLigue 1 Finals (28 April)

A total of 36 players across 17 European nations will earn qualification for the league phase:

4 seats: France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom

2 seats: Portugal

1 seat: Belgium, Bulgaria, Czechia, Finland, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Romania

League phase (16 & 17 May)

Across two days of action, 36 qualified pros representing real-world European football clubs will compete in six games against each other on 16 and 17 May. The top 24 players will progress to the knockout phase.

Knockout phase (18 May)

The 24 remaining players will vie for one of the eight eChampions League finals seats.

Finals (28 May)

Three days before the UEFA Champions League final takes place at the Munich Football Arena, the eChampions League concludes with what is sure to be a memorable finals tournament at Eisbach Studios.

When will the teams taking part in the eChampions League be confirmed?

The full line-up for the league phase of the eChampions League will be confirmed on 2 May once all qualifiers have been concluded.

How can I get tickets for the finals?

Fans will be able to apply for tickets via an online ticket website, which will be communicated at a later date.

What else is happening at the finals?

Attendees will be able the enjoy the eCL fan activation area at Eisbach Studios, including a UEFA Champions League memorabilia showcase.
