Wednesday night's action
Celtic 1-2 Bayern München
Harry Kane’s ferocious second-half volley – which made him the first English player to score 60 times in UEFA club competitions – gave Bayern a lead to take into next week's return game after a 2-1 win.
Michael Olise’s left-footed drive put them in front just before the break, with Kane adding to it soon after. A late strike from close range by Daizen Maeda leaves the tie in the balance, however, with his goal giving Celtic hope of a second-leg turnaround.

Feyenoord 1-0 Milan
Feyenoord claimed a narrow first-leg victory following an impressive display against seven-time winners Milan. The Eredivisie side were ahead just three minutes in when Mike Maignan was unable to hold Igor Paixão's crisp shot after the winger had cut inside from the left flank.
The lively Brazilian midfielder was at the heart of Feyenoord's attacking play, hitting the bar with a curling effort ten minutes before half-time and going close midway through the second period with an audacious long-range strike.
Player of the Match: Igor Paixão (Feyenoord)
Monaco 0-1 Benfica
Vangelis Pavlidis scored his sixth goal in five Champions League matches as Benfica beat ten-man Monaco. The game burst into life shortly after the interval when Pavlidis outran Mohammed Salisu and chipped the ball over Monaco goalkeeper Radosław Majecki from a narrow angle.
The hosts were reduced to ten players in the 52nd minute when Al Musrati received a second yellow card, but the visitors were unable to capitalise on their numerical advantage and add to their lead.

Club Brugge 2-1 Atalanta
Club Brugge will take a lead to Bergamo next Tuesday after a late penalty from substitute Gustaf Nilsson sealed victory over Atalanta. Stepping up to the spot in added time, Nilsson maintained composure, placing the ball left of middle as Rui Patrício dived in the opposite direction.
The hosts had taken a first-half lead through Ferran Jutglà, who finished powerfully after controlling a cross from the excellent Chemsdine Talbi, but Mario Pašalić restored parity before the break with a towering header.

Tuesday night's action
Manchester City 2-3 Real Madrid
Jude Bellingham's late goal completed a stunning comeback from Madrid, who twice came from behind to clinch a narrow first-leg advantage.
Erling Haaland's double – the second from the penalty spot with just over ten minutes remaining – either side of Kylian Mbappé's looping strike, appeared to have given City the edge. However, visiting sub Brahim Díaz was quickest to the rebound following an Ederson save to level against his former side, before Bellingham tapped in from close range after good work by Vinícius Júnior to seal the win in a pulsating contest.

Brest 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain
Ousmane Dembélé continued his superb recent form to score a double and put Paris in control of their all-French tie against Brest. Vitinha gave the visitors the lead by coolly converting an early penalty awarded for handball.
Dembélé doubled the advantage with a low fizzing effort on the stroke of half-time before bundling in his tenth goal in his last four games to seal an impressive victory for Luis Enrique's side.

Sporting CP 0-3 Borussia Dortmund
Serhou Guirassy's tenth goal of the campaign helped Borussia Dortmund secure a commanding win in Lisbon. After Maximiliano Araújo hit the crossbar from distance before half-time for Sporting, Guirassy headed in Julian Brandt's cross to open the scoring after 60 minutes.
Pascal Gross met Guirassy's delivery with a knee to register his first goal for Dortmund eight minutes later, and Karim Adeyemi completed a slick one-two with Brandt to slot in the third from a counterattack with eight minutes remaining.

Juventus 2-1 PSV Eindhoven
The Bianconeri will take a slender advantage into next week's second leg in the Netherlands after a hard-fought win in Turin. Juve dominated the first half but had only a thunderous strike from Weston McKennie to show for it.
Ivan Perišić then drew the visitors level after the restart but, just as it seemed the game would finish level, the hosts secured the victory when Samuel Mbangula poked in from close range.
Player of the Match: Federico Gatti (Juventus)
All knockout phase play-off second legs will take place on 18 or 19 February.
