Article body
Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski lead a three-strong contingent from Bayern München and Barcelona respectively with two players selected from both Atalanta and Aston Villa with Borussia Dortmund, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, Celtic and PSV Eindhoven also represented.
Goalkeepers
Among the teams in action on Tuesday, PSV Eindhoven’s home game against Girona is perhaps the most appealing from a defensive point of view. The Dutch champions' ten-game winning start to the Eredivisie campaign was ended by Ajax on 2 November, but Walter Benítez (€4.4m) remains a strong selection against the Spanish side, who have drawn a blank in four of their eight away games in 2024/25.
On Wednesday the selection is once again Emiliano Martínez (€5.0m), the second highest-scoring goalkeeper on Fantasy with 22 points. The Argentinian, who claimed the Yashin award for the second year running at the Ballon d'Or ceremony on 28 October, is still to concede after three Champions League appearances while Matchday 4 opponents Club Brugge have managed only two games.
Defenders
Villa's defensive record in this season's Champions League means Diego Carlos (€4.5m), a budget route into their back line, is selected for the trip to Belgium. Pau Cubarsí (€4.5m) is another low-priced option, the teenager's Barcelona travelling to point-less Crvena Zvezda, while Sead Kolašinac (€4.7m), whose 24 points is joint-second among defenders, is chosen for Atalanta's trip to Stuttgart.
At the other end of the price range, Trent Alexander-Arnold (€6.0m) could prove a shrew option at both ends as Liverpool face Bayer Leverkusen at Anfield, the right-back having delivered two clean sheets and an assist already in the league phase. Achraf Hakimi (€5.5m) is level with Alexander-Arnold on 22 points, 13 from the most recent outing, as Paris Saint-Germain welcome Atlético de Madrid to the Parc des Princes.
Midfielders
Perhaps Europe's most in-form midfielder, Raphinha (€7.5m) is also the top scorer overall on Fantasy with 37 points – 21 of them from the Matchday 3 win at home to Bayern – and has five goals in his last three club appearances before Barcelona's away game in Serbia. Bayern provide two representatives in midfield, Jamal Musiala (€9.0m) having four goals and an assist in his last three games while Michael Olise (€6.7m) has seven goals in his last ten appearances ahead of Benfica's visit to Munich.
Ademola Lookman (€6.6m) is another form player with four goals in his last three Serie A games for an Atalanta side that have won their last five league matches, scoring 18 goals. Daizen Maeda (€6.7m) found the net in Celtic's first two league phase fixtures and warmed up for the visit of Leipzig with a Scottish League Cup semi-final hat-trick on Saturday.
Forwards
The top scorer in both the Champions League and the Bundesliga this season with 11 and five goals respectively, Harry Kane (€10.7m) is also the top-scoring Fantasy forward with 29 points and returns to Munich, where he hit four goals in Bayern's record win against GNK Dinamo on Matchday 1, to take on Benfica. Borussia Dortmund's Serhou Guirassy (€7.7m) has three Champions League goals and an assist to contribute to his 22 Fantasy points, the Guinean forward managing 13 goals in his last 12 appearances for club and country and next faces Sturm Graz in Germany.
Robert Lewandowski (€9.5m) makes it three Barcelona players selected for the game at Crvena Zvezda, the Pole having struck three times in his last two Champions League games in addition to his La Liga-leading 14 goals in 2024/25.
