The eChampions League 2024: All you need to know

The eChampions League is back with Europe's finest FC players heading to London, England, to battle for one of the biggest prizes in the sport.

Not only will the winners lift the prestigious eChampions League trophy, but they’ll also take home their share of a massive $281,000 USD prize pool.

To ensure you're ready when the games begin, here's everything you need to know about the eChampions League 2024.

How does the eChampions League work?

The eChampions League 2024 will take place over three stages – Group stage, Knockout stage and Finals.

Group stage (11–12 May: 17:00 CET)

In the Group stage, the qualified players will be split into eight groups. They will face off in a round-robin format over two days. The top three teams from each group will advance to the Knockout stage.

Knockout stage (18–19 May: 19:00 CET)

The Knockout stage will see the field reduced from 24 players to just eight as they compete in a single elimination format. The second and third seeds will go head to head in the Knockout stage play-offs, then will compete against a top-seeded team in the round of 16. Winners from those games will then compete in the eChampions League Finals.

Finals (29 May: 17:00 CET)

The final eight finalists will compete in front of a live audience at the Magazine London in a single elimination competition, with one being crowned the new eChampions League champion.
