European hopefuls boost squads

Turkish Super League sides Trabzonspor and Besitkas JK have made adjustments to their set-ups.

Celaleddin swoop
Super League runners-up Trabzonspor, who qualified for the UEFA Champions League, have snatched left-sided midfield player Celaleddin Koçak, 27, from Malatyaspor. Trabzonspor say they are also close to finalising an agreement with Belgian outfit KRC Genk for midfield player Bernd Thijs.

Çagdas signs
Meanwhile, Besiktas JK, who qualified for the UEFA Cup after finishing third in the league, have completed a swoop for Denizlispor's Turkish international defender Çagdas Atan, 24, on a two-year contract with an option for a further year.

Captain's dual role
Besiktas have also announced that team captain Tayfur Havutçu will take on a dual role after also being appointed as the club's general manager.
