Roma move for Mido

AS Roma have secured the services of Egyptian striker Ahmed Hossam 'Mido' from Olympique de Marseille.

Young talent
The 21-year-old joined Marseille last season after spells at AFC Ajax and RC Celta de Vigo. Despite being troubled by injuries he managed seven goals in 22 league games and scored twice in the UEFA Champions League. Mido has also registered three times in nine appearances for Egypt, whom he represented at the African Cup of Nations in January.
