Medical passed
Xisco, 24, passed a medical in the Andalusian capital today and is due to be unveiled by the Copa del Rey holders on Tuesday. A former Spanish youth international, Xisco hit 14 goals in his first season with Valencia's B team in 1999/00. Loan spells at RC Recreativo de Huelva and CD Tenerife followed before Valencia recalled him for the title-winning 2003/04 campaign.
Second signing
Despite Vicente Rodríguez being Valencia's leading left-sided player, Xisco still made 22 appearances last term, scoring twice. He becomes Betis's second acquisition following the capture of Alberto Rivera from Levante UD, as they prepare to make their UEFA Champions League debut in the third qualifying round in August.
