Oleh Blokhin, Dynamo Kyiv coach
We started brightly and scored a quick goal, but after a while some of my players became afraid of the result. We let Dinamo take the initiative and our players couldn't understand who to cover in midfield – they forgot what we talked about before the game.

After the break we regrouped and, leading by two goals, we fielded an extra anchorman to get to grips with things in midfield. I didn't like that we sometimes sat too deep. We should still have scored two or three [more] goals and won by a bigger margin because we didn't let them create anything.

Ante Čačić, Dinamo coach
Dynamo deserved to win. We didn't expect to concede such an early goal, so it was a difficult situation for us, but we managed to react well after it. Later we were punished by the second goal but we didn't feel down in the second half.

We were trying to score but, in the end, I must be honest and say there was a difference in quality between the teams and Dynamo deserved to win. I have to congratulate them. Every match is a different story, so I hope we will keep our mistakes to a minimum against Paris Saint-Germain and that we will be better.
