Ariel Ibagaza could miss both Olympiacos FC's UEFA Champions League encounters with Montpellier Hérault SC because of a right groin injury.
The midfielder was taken off shortly after half-time in the Greek Super League leaders' 1-0 victory over Asteras Tripolis FC on Sunday and, having been assessed by the Olympiacos medical staff, will be sidelined for a month.
That rules the 35-year-old out of the Group B fixture against Montpellier at the Stade de la Mosson on 24 October, although he could return for the home game with René Girard's side on 6 November should his recovery go to plan.
Olympiacos are bottom of the section following defeats by FC Schalke 04 and Arsenal FC in their first two matches.
