I've already had a lot of time to deal with this defeat during the match. My biggest frustration is that before the game we paid a lot of attention to the way PSG play, but not everyone acted upon what we had agreed. On the right side things went well, but on the left it was less good; that cost us two goals and therefore also the match.
We must not think about reaching third place any more. There is no longer any chance of that. On Sunday another big match awaits us. It is now our job to get the players mentally over this and ready for that game. Luckily it is against R. Standard de Liège, so it won't be difficult to prepare them for it.
Laurent Blanc, PSG coach
Let's enjoy the moment. It is only the third game and in the next one we will still have to build on tonight's good away performance, but the players must be ambitious. Otherwise it would be a professional failure.
This competition is very hard to win, it is certainly the best competition but it is very difficult. The players know that. In our squad we have very few players who have won it. So at first we must go stage by stage. The first step is to advance to the knockout rounds. After that the draw is important, so we should not look too far ahead.
