Bayern's upbeat Robben looks to Munich return

Speaking to UEFA.com after FC Bayern München's 1-0 reverse away to Real Madrid CF on Wednesday, Arjen Robben lamented the fact that his team failed to find the target having enjoyed long spells of possession against their Spanish counterparts. Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, meanwhile, insisted that everything was still to play for in Tuesday's UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg.

I think it was a very good game between two very good teams. I think we played well, especially considering the last two or three weeks [of Bundesliga form]. We stepped up our level and controlled the match, especially in the first half when I expected a little bit more from Madrid. They stayed back a lot and defended. The only thing missing for us tonight was a goal.

It's a shame we didn't score but we will go into the return match with a lot of confidence. Madrid are so dangerous up front so we will have to be wary in Munich. If you lose the ball too easily they break away and they can score with ease. You could see that with their goal tonight, we lost possession and after two or three passes the ball was in the back of the net. I can’t say we are happy that we lost but it's not such a bad feeling as we are still in it.

Everything is still possible in this tie. We expect a similar game in the return leg. We have to stay focused and take advantage of our opportunities.
