AS Monaco FC have signed midfielder Bernardo Silva on permanent terms after a successful loan spell from SL Benfica.

The 20-year-old has appeared in 15 Ligue 1 games and three more in the UEFA Champions League since joining the principality club in the summer. "I'm not used to playing this much, but I'm happy here," explained the Portuguese Under-21 international who made just one senior league outing for Benfica prior to his move to France.
