Our never-say-die attitude was key tonight. Michael Ballack was great but we were fantastic as a team tonight, one mustn't praise one player in particular. It's an outstanding night for the team and I'm part of the team, so it was a great night for me as well.

The lads absolutely deserved the win as they delivered a passionate performance. Just like against Valencia we staged a comeback at home after conceding the first goal. This speaks volumes about the character and quality of the squad. In Genk we will do everything to stay top of the group.

The game against Valencia [on matchday six] will be a good head-to-head battle because we expect Leverkusen to win or draw in Belgium [and go through]. It's tough for the English clubs at the moment as we are struggling but we have to put on a brave face and regroup.

There is no perfect way to defend; every team has their own strategy. But in this competition if you make a mistake you pay a heavy price. So we must improve, we have no excuses. If we want to go to the next step we have to do better.

Any negative result is difficult. We were organised and compact but we've conceded in the details and those details made the difference tonight. Our concentration and focus was better, but this can happen. We thought we had the game in our hands at 1-0 because we were solid. We had a good chance to make it 2-0, didn't take it and paid heavily in the last minute.
