At the business end of a season, the stress level of the average coach is on the rise. In the first of our seven-part documentary series, The Coaches, UEFA.com speaks to the best in the business to discover how they cope with the constant demands of media, fans and their own expectations.
The face of coaching across European football is changing but there is no uniform way to guide your team to success, as European football's elite managers have been telling UEFA.com. "Every coach should have his own philosophy," said Sir Alex Ferguson. "And sometimes you to have to maybe learn new ways. I always think the best coaches are the ones with imagination – you have to have a good imagination to be a top coach."
Joining the Manchester United FC manager in sharing their reflections are José Mourinho, Thorsten Fink, Remi Garde, Jürgen Klopp and Gérard Houllier.
