AC Milan have signed Ghanaian international midfielder Sulley Muntari on loan from city rivals FC Internazionale Milano until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old's contract with Inter is due to expire this summer, bringing an end to Muntari's four-year stint at the club. He played for Udinese Calcio from 2002 before spending the 2007/08 campaign at Portsmouth FC, winning the FA Cup. He returned to England last term for a loan spell with Sunderland AFC.
He has scored seven goals in 66 Serie A appearances for Inter, but did not play in the UEFA Champions League this autumn. Milan take on Arsenal FC in the round of 16 on 15 February and 6 March, playing the first leg at home.
