Claudio Ranieri, Inter coach
The most important thing tonight was to show the will of the team. We played a pretty good game and now we have nine points, so we have almost qualified. This has been a difficult season for us but we won't give up and I want to underline this. Milito created a lot of chances tonight and helped the team, I never thought of bringing him off. He was full of desire and I am happy he finally found the net. He is the man who helped Inter win the Champions League so he deserves respect. We faced a very good team, as Lille hadn't lost an away match in Europe in almost a year. So they are definitely a difficult team to play.

Rudi Garcia, Lille coach
The draw between our two opponents [Trabzonspor AŞ and PFC CSKA Moskva] is the good news of the evening. We played Inter twice and have had the same feeling twice: we can match them before their experience and our inexperience are the difference. We mainly lacked focus on the first goal. And when this team are ahead, it's very difficult to come back although we pulled one back. We came here to win but we would have been happy with one point. I think that to beat such a team is still too difficult for us. Now two wins in the last two games are needed but that will be enough and we can do it.
