FC Internazionale Milano have signed Japanese international left-back Yuto Nagatomo on a full-time basis following his successful six-month loan from AC Cesena.
The transfer completes a busy year for Nagatomo, 24, who initially joined Cesena on loan from FC Tokyo last summer before that move was made permanent and he was loaned to Internazionale.
A member of the Japan squad that won the AFC Asian Cup earlier this year, Nagatomo played 13 games in Serie A and three in the UEFA Champions League for the Nerazzurri from February onwards. He had earlier caught the eye during his 16 league outings with Cesena.
As part of the Nagatomo deal, Inter, who have replaced coach Leonardo with Gian Piero Gasperini, have allowed defender Luca Caldirola, 20, and forward Luca Garritano, 17, to go to Cesena. However, the San Siro outfit will retain 50% of the two players' licences.
