Dozen years
The 36-year-old former Serbo-Montenegrin international joined Inter last summer to continue a 12-year career in Serie A which has seen him play for Roma, UC Sampdoria and S.S. Lazio. With the last named he won the Scudetto, the Italian Cup, the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup and the UEFA Super Cup. Before coming to Italy, Mihajlovic had also claimed two league titles, the European Champion Clubs' Cup and the European/South American Cup with FK Crvena Zvezda.
Next challenge
This season he played 20 Serie A games, scoring four goals, and appeared four times in the UEFA Champions League. Inter will play in that competition again next term, starting in the third qualifying round after finishing third in Serie A.
