Pizarro has put pen to paper on a four-year contract with the Italian Cup winners following a successful medical. The 25-year-old arrives at the San Siro in a €10m deal, with Udinese also acquiring Macedonian international Goran Pandev. The 21-year-old striker has signed a five-year contract with the Friuli club but will spend next season at S.S. Lazio.
Key figure
Inter's new boy was a key figure in Udinese's rise to fourth position in Serie A in 2004/05, which earned a place in the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round in August.
Loan ranger
Pizarro had been with the Bianconeri since the 1999/00 campaign, joining from Santiago Wanderers FC, and with the exception of a brief loan spell at CFP Universidad de Chile. In all, he made 126 league appearaces for Udinese, scoring 14 goals. Pizarro has also registered twice in 33 internationals for Chile.
