Group A
Malmö 0-5 Paris Saint-Germain
Zlatan Ibrahimović, back at his home-town club, scored his first UEFA Champions League goal in nearly a year as Paris wrapped up their place in the knockout stage. Ángel Di María struck twice.
Shakhtar Donetsk 3-4 Real Madrid
Madrid, already through, are assured of finishing top of the section despite an almighty late scare. Cristiano Ronaldo registered his 83rd and 84th goals in the competition as Madrid went 4-0 up, only for Shakhtar to net three times late on.
Group B
CSKA Moskva 0-2 Wolfsburg
Igor Akinfeev's own goal and a late second from substitute André Schürrle launched Wolfsburg to the Group B summit and ended CSKA's hopes of achieving the last 16.
Manchester United 0-0 PSV Eindhoven
United knew victory would ensure UEFA Champions League football in the spring but they could not find a breakthrough and racked up a fourth goalless draw in their last seven outings in all competitions.
Group C
Astana 2-2 Benfica
Needing a win to maintain any prospect of qualifying, Astana took a two-goal lead through Patrick Twumasi and Marin Aničić. Raúl Jiménez struck twice, however, to put Benfica into the last 16 and eliminate the hosts.
Atlético Madrid 2-0 Galatasaray
Antoine Griezmann scored in either half as the 2014 runners-up, requiring just a draw to advance, made sure they and Benfica remain level on points going into the final matchday.
Group D
Juventus 1-0 Manchester City
The Serie A champions leapfrogged Manuel Pellegrini's team, who were already qualified, courtesy of Mario Mandžukić's 18th-minute effort. Juve are two points clear of City, meaning top spot is still up for grabs.
Borussia Mönchengladbach 4-2 Sevilla
Gladbach, unbeaten in ten in all competitions under André Schubert, were already out of the UEFA Champions League but are now two points above Sevilla in the race for third and a UEFA Europa League berth.
