Play-off sides' European records

UEFA.com looks at the European records of the 20 play-off contenders, with Manchester United and Valencia back and Astana in their third continental campaign.

• This is the first time Maccabi have reached the play-offs, having lost in the third qualifying round in 2013/14 and 2014/15; their sole group stage appearance came in 2004/05 (before the play-offs were introduced).
