Olympiacos FC have strengthened ahead of the new season with the signing of Jorge Benítez from Club Guaraní.
The Paraguayan striker, who turns 22 in a fortnight, has penned a four-year deal with the Greek champions. Benítez has scored 18 goals in 22 appearances in 2014 and earned his first international cap in June against France.
After the deal was completed, Benítez told the club's official website: "I am very happy to be in Greece and thankful for the opportunity handed by Olympiacos. I will make the most of it, as it's my first time in European football and I am particularly looking forward to competing in the Champions League, where the best players show their potential."
Olympiacos begin their Greek title defence against Niki Volos at the weekend and next Thursday discover their UEFA Champions League group stage opposition.
