Fresh from helping to open the UEFA Champions Festival along with fellow former FC Bayern München players Giovane Elber and Paul Breitner, Willy Sagnol took time out to answer user questions sent in using #AskSagnol. UEFA.com's Andy James spoke to the festival ambassador in an interview screened live at the Olympiapark.

UEFA.com: Do you have any tips for the Bayern players ahead of Saturday's game?

Willy Sagnol: Don't think too much out there on the pitch. Just play football. We all know that Bayern can play nice football but people will only remember the winners, not the losers.

UEFA.com: What will the atmosphere be like in Munich if Bayern win the final on Saturday?

Sagnol: It would make life perfect for Munich and the Bayern fans. A home final is one you simply have to win.

Efekan Turkyilmaz, @Effa9: As a great right-back in the past, who is the best right-back now for you?

Sagnol: There are lots of very good right-backs. One of my biggest role models is Javier Zanetti because he's 38 and still running around like a 20-year-old. He was always my idol, but Dani Alves at Barcelona is obviously a top player too.

Scattered Mastermind @MrJeff_Jacobs: Who were the top three left wingers you faced in your career and what made them difficult opponents?

Sagnol: Roberto Carlos was very difficult to defend against because he was very good technically and unbelievably quick. He could run for 90 minutes. Along with Bixente Lizarazu, he was the world's best left wing-back for years.

Riyan Yuzheera @RiyanYuzheera: What was the best moment of your career as a footballer?

Sagnol: Of course the two biggest highlights were the Champions League victory with Bayern in 2001 and the World Cup final with France in 2006 in Berlin.

Don Paolo @Skag_Trendeh: Why does Willy think that Bayern couldn't transfer their imperious Champions League form into winning the Bundesliga?

Sagnol: You need a lot of energy to compete in the Champions League as well. Bayern's squad was very small this season and the coach didn't have many options. Perhaps the squad will be bigger in future, but the players need to have the quality to give 100% in both the Champions League and the Bundesliga.

Lim Mingji @limmingji: Do you think Bayern have what it takes to stop both Torres and Drogba?

Sagnol: Yes, because the players coming in like Contento, played really well in the semi-finals of the Champions League two years ago. Tymoschuck is a very experienced player, as are Lahm and Boateng.

Kael Nangin @kaelnangin: What's your prediction for the UEFA Champions League final?

Sagnol: As a fan, I have to say Bayern. It has to be!

Giovane Elber is the subject of our next #Ask session tomorrow. We will be taking questions from 09.00CET.
