Real Madrid CF midfielder Casemiro has joined FC Porto on a season-long loan with a view to making a permanent move to the Portuguese club next summer.
The 22-year-old came to the Santiago Bernabéu at the start of 2013 from São Paulo FC and was given his Liga debut that April by José Mourinho in a Liga game against Real Betis Balompié. Last season, he played in 11 league games, ten of them as a substitute, and he played in six matches as Carlo Ancelotti's side claimed the UEFA Champions League title, though he did not make the bench for the final itself.
Porto enter the 2014/15 UEFA Champions League in the play-off round while Madrid are already sure of their place in the group stage.
