Reporter's view: As Zinédine Zidane said in his press conference, Real Madrid live for nights like these. For once, they are not necessarily overwhelming favourites, but they have the know-how to get through. All eyes will be on Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo, but the key to this game will be in midfield; if Luka Modrić, Toni Kroos and Casemiro are on top form, the Merengues will fancy their chances.

The fact that it's a French side makes no difference to me. I am just thinking about us playing a good game. Yes, I'm from Marseille and Paris have always been our rivals but this is Madrid, so I'm not thinking about that. We are happy to play games like these – it's not pressure. We live for these games.
