Group E
The Reds consolidated top spot in the section with their second successive victory against Maribor; Mohamed Salah, Emre Can and Daniel Sturridge got the goals, with James Milner having a penalty saved.
Beaten 5-1 in Moscow just a fortnight ago, Sevilla pulled off an impressive turnaround on home soil to remain a point adrift of Liverpool in second.
Group F
City continued their sensational form – they have won 14 of their 16 games in all competitions this season – to book their place in the knockout stages. Sergio Agüero scored the third to become City's outright all-time leading scorer.
Shakhtar Donetsk 3-1 Feyenoord
Behind after 12 minutes, Shakhtar ultimately ran out comfortable victors to stay second in the section, three points behind City who they meet on matchday six. Feyenoord can no longer finish in the top two.
Group G
Beşiktaş are a point away from the last 16 after Cenk Tosun earned them a share of the spoils with a 54th-minute penalty.
Porto are now just four points behind Beşiktaş ahead of their trip to Turkey next time out. Héctor Herrera, Danilo and Maxi Pereira were all on the mark against Leipzig.
Group H
Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Real Madrid
Dele Alli found the net in each half as Spurs condemned Madrid to a first UEFA Champions League group stage defeat in 31 games. The holders are now three points behind Mauricio Pochettino's men, but also as many points clear of both Dortmund and APOEL.
Raphaël Guerreiro put Dortmund ahead before the half-hour, but Poté earned the visitors a point with his goal six minutes into the second half. Both teams have their work cut out to reach the top two.
