We'll defend well, go from minute to minute and look to create chances. The Madrid squad might well be the best in the world, alongside Barcelona and Bayern.

We're fighting at a stage where we're proud to be: the semis of the Champions League. The only side that haven't been able to rest players in the league beforehand is us. We have our weapons, we'll try to do something that's going to be very difficult but we won't give up until the ref blows the final whistle.

Atleti all but sealed a return to the UEFA Champions League group stage next season as Saúl Ñíguez's third goal in six outings earned a narrow home win that leaves Simeone's team five points clear of fourth-placed Sevilla with two to play. Diego Godín received a second yellow card in added time.

Granada 0-4 Real Madrid (James Rodríguez 3 11, Morata 30 35)
Madrid were too hot to handle in Granada, two goals apiece from James Rodríguez and Álvaro Morata setting a much-changed side up for a comfortable evening. The Merengues returned level on points with Barcelona at the top of the Liga, with a game in hand, and also completed back-to-back clean sheets for the first time since January.

Undoubtedly, the visitors are in the driving seat, and were able to rest a lot of their starters at the weekend, too. Yet maybe, just maybe, in the final European game at the Vicente Calderón, Atlético can pull off something very, very special.
