ATLÉTICO v REAL MADRID
Atlético 1-0 Eibar (Saúl 69)
Atleti all but sealed a return to the UEFA Champions League group stage next season as Saúl Ñíguez's third goal in six outings earned a narrow home win that leaves Diego Simeone's team five points clear of fourth-place Sevilla with two to play. Atleti ended with ten men as Diego Godín received a second yellow card in added time.
Granada 0-4 Real Madrid (James Rodríguez 3 11; Morata 30 35)
Madrid were too hot to handle in Granada, two goals apiece from James Rodríguez and Álvaro Morata setting a much-changed side up for a comfortable evening. The Merengues returned level on points with Barcelona atop the Liga, with a game in hand, and also completed back-to-back clean sheets for the first time since January.
JUVENTUS v MONACO
Juventus 1-1 Torino (Higuaín 90+2; Ljajić 52)
Second-half substitute Gonzalo Higuaín came to the rescue for Juventus, firing in two minutes into added time to salvage a share of the derby spoils. Torino played the last 33 minutes with ten men following Afriyie Acquah's dismissal. The draw did, however, end the Bianconeri's run of 33 consecutive home wins in Serie A.
Nancy 0-3 Monaco (Tobias Badila og 3, Bernardo Silva 40, Lemar 86)
Monaco took another big step towards their first Ligue 1 title since 1999/2000 with a clinical display at Nancy, getting a bit of help on their way with an early own goal. Bernardo Silva ended a run of 18 outings without a goal by heading in before half-time following a cross from Thomas Lemar, who wrapped things up himself late on. Monaco are three points clear of Paris and also have a game in hand.
