Carlo Ancelotti, Bayern coach
It will be a special occasion for me: I have a special connection with the club and the players. 'Zizou' and I are very good friends. I'm delighted he has done so well at Real and won the UEFA Champions League. The fact I know 'Zizou' and the players well is no advantage, though.
We're aware of what Real can do, we have a lot of respect for them, but we're more focused on what we can do. It will be a difficult match, but we have the confidence and we're in good form.

I know Carlo and he knows me, but it means nothing. Tomorrow is about two great teams playing each other, not me playing against Carlo. We have done very well so far in the competition and we want to go for it tomorrow and get the win.
I think our team is better now than in 2014 – but we need to prove it. What happened three years ago happened and it was wonderful. But tomorrow is a completely different game, between two different teams.

Robert Lewandowski's double against his old club means he has now scored in seven straight Bundesliga home games. Leaders Bayern thus maintained their ten-point lead over RB Leipzig with six matches to go, after Franck Ribéry and Lewandowski's early goals helped make quick amends for the midweek loss to Hoffenheim.
Real Madrid 1-1Atlético (Pepe 52; Griezmann 85)
A header by Pepe, who later suffered cracked ribs, from Toni Kroos's free-kick ensured Madrid scored for the 52nd consecutive fixture but Antoine Griezmann's late equaliser denied them victory. It also gave Barcelona the chance to erase the Merengues' Liga lead – thankfully for Real, the Catalans lost to leave Madrid three ahead with a game in hand.

Bayern have won their last 16 UEFA Champions League home matches, since the humiliating 4-0 defeat Real Madrid inflicted on them in Munich three years ago, and if they can take a lead to Spain next week, I fancy them to reach the semis. However, they will need to avoid making the same mistakes as in 2014 and pay particular attention to Sergio Ramos, Cristiano Ronaldo and friends when defending set pieces.
