After Juventus racked up a record 26th successive Serie A home win on Sunday, we look at what other milestones they have set in recent years – and ahead to one they are eyeing for May.

Juventus have started 2017 with a bang. Two goals from Gonzalo Higuaín, and a Paulo Dybala penalty, were enough for the Bianconeri to beat Bologna 3-0 on Sunday and set a new all-time record of 26 successive Serie A home wins.

This is a sequence that dates back to 4 October 2015 and a 3-1 victory, also against Bologna, during which time they have scored 62 times and conceded on only nine occasions.

"It is another step towards a sixth consecutive Scudetto, which would be a legendary achievement," said coach Massimiliano Allegri. "In a few years we will analyse the numbers and the records of this team and appreciate how extraordinary they are. However, there is still a long way to go because our rivals are close and we cannot afford to slow down." Juve top the table with a game in hand over second-placed Roma, who are four points adrift.

Since their first Serie A outing at the Juventus Stadium – a 4-1 win against Parma in September 2011 – Juventus have played 105 top-flight matches on home soil, winning 88, drawing 14 and losing only three. They have racked up 229 goals and let in just 54.

As alluded to by Allegri, a sixth straight title would be unprecedented – but what other records have Juve already set during this recent period of domestic dominance?

100
Juventus ended 2016 as the only team in history to have picked up 100 Serie A points in a single calendar year. The previous record was 94.

The evergreen Buffon made our 2016 Team of the Year

973
In March, goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon went 973 minutes without conceding in the league, surpassing the record Milan's Sebastiano Rossi had held since the 1993/94 campaign.

11
Allegri's men went 11 Serie A home matches in a row without letting in a goal at the start of last year. That run stretched from a 3-0 defeat of Verona on 6 January to a 5-0 triumph over Sampdoria on 14 May.

47
La Vecchia Signora did not suffer a top-flight loss on home soil for 47 fixtures, between 19 January 2013 and 23 May 2015.

102
In 2013/14, Juventus – then coached by Antonio Conte – achieved a record 102 points and 33 wins in a single season.
