Group B
Beşiktaş 3-3 Benfica
Beşiktaş revived memories of the 2005 final, conjuring up their very own 'miracle of Istanbul' by claiming a point despite being 3-0 down with just over half an hour to play. The Turkish club will reach the round of 16 if they beat Dynamo Kyiv on matchday six. Benfica would have qualified with a win.

Napoli 0-0 Dynamo Kyiv
Napoli spurned the chance to go to the head of standings but will qualify with a draw in Napoli next time. Dynamo are now consigned to fourth spot.

Group C
Borussia Mönchengladbach 1-1 Manchester City
City got the point they needed to qualify and Gladbach are into the UEFA Eurpopa League round of 32 as Raffael and David Silva exchanged first-half goals, with both teams then going down to ten men after the break, Lars Stindl and Fernandinho shown red cards.

Celtic 0-2 Barcelona
Lionel Messi, who hit a hat-trick when the Azulgrana beat Celtic 7-0 in September, added his 91st and 92nd UEFA Champions League goals to send Barça through as group winners.

Rostov 3-2 Bayern München
Rostov posted their maiden group stage victory at the expense of already-qualified Bayern, who had taken the lead on 35 minutes. Rostov had lost 5-0 in Munich on matchday one – their debut in the competition proper – and will finish third with a draw at PSV.
