We want to get the crowd behind us right from the start and show that we can compete with one of the absolute top teams in Europe. Two weeks ago in Munich there were phases in the match in which we were struggling, but at other times we were doing well and creating chances.
We have to try and build on that. I have lots of respect for Arjen Robben, both on and off the field. I enjoyed playing with him. He has incredible qualities and belongs at the very top. Arjen will get the reception he deserves from our supporters, but I'm sure our fans will also be 100% behind us.

At the moment our team are playing with quality, intensity and great spirit. We will need all these things because it will be a difficult game. PSV usually play well at home so it will be a little bit different [to Munich] because they will push forward more.
We could qualify for the next round tomorrow and we still want to finish first in the group so I will be fielding my strongest team. Holger Badstuber will start on the bench.

With Bayern close to recapturing top form, only the most optimistic PSV supporter will be anticipating three points, especially as several key players are missing through injury. On the other hand, with expectations relatively low, some of the pressure is off. Fringe or emerging talents like Bart Ramselaar, Steven Bergwijn or Pereiro may then be able to play with more freedom. Being on the same pitch as former local hero Robben could also spur them on.
