Thwarted by Club Atlético de Madrid in 2008/09, PSV Eindhoven will look to make amends as their first UEFA Champions League knockout round tie in nine years concludes.
• This time round, the teams head to Spain all square having drawn 0-0 in the first leg in Eindhoven on 24 February.
Previous meetings
• In the 2008/09 group stage Atlético won 2-1 in Spain, thanks to first-half goals from Simão and Maxi Rodríguez. Danny Koevermans replied early in the second half to put the visitors back in the game.
• The lineups at the Vicente Calderón on 26 November 2008 were:
