How we ranked fixtures
Using the latest club coefficient rankings we assigned a number to each team, with top-ranked Real Madrid on one, second-place Bayern two and so on. For two teams who have not previously faced each other we added these rankings together, so Atlético (#5) v Paris Saint-Germain (#7) equals 12. The lower the number, the higher the fixture ranking.
